
Shelly Halpern has been homeschooling her three children (Aidan, Ashley, and Alayna) for the past five years. She has a degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Reading. She has been active in Archway since the beginning and is looking forward to working with children other than her own by teaching this year.
Stephanie Harrison graduated from UNCG and taught at South Mebane Elementary School. She currently teaches 2nd grade SS at The Lambs Chapel. She is mom to Blake, Braeden, and Ben and wife to Tucker. This is her ninth year homeschooling. When she has free time, she enjoys decorating and spending time with friends.
Pam King earned a Child Development degree at UNC-Greensboro. She has worked as a preschool teacher, trainer for child care providers, and presently works part-time as an online instructor for ACC. Pam is wife to Al and mom/teacher to Malik, 11, and Mason, 9. Her favorite magazine is Cottages & Bungalows, and she enjoys family time and crafting.
Christie Moser has an A.A.S. degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing. She also has an A.A.S. degree with honors in Graphic Art and Advertising Design, and a certificate with honors in Computer Graphics. Working part-time as a Graphic Designer, Christie balances life homeschooling daughters, Sidney Clay and Mallory. Christie is the founder of Haven of Hope & Healing, a pregnancy and infant loss center, which she and her husband, Darrell, started after their son was stillborn full-term in 2002.
Growing up, Christie enjoyed being in the kitchen helping her mom and learning from her as she
entertained with countless parties and family gatherings. Now Christie enjoys doing the same with her daughters. Expressing her creativity and hospitality through her newest endeavor 3 Curly Girls, Christie offers graphic design services, handmade invitations, party planning, and more.
Carol Plaster is a graduate of Elon University and taught middle school math and science before staying home with her 3 sons. After teaching middle and high school classes at Veritas Enrichment for 7 years, she saw a desire for elementary-level enrichment classes in the Alamance County area and founded Archway Classes in the fall of 2010.
Abbey Rich is married to Mike Rich and they have three children: Macie (9), Preston (7) and David (6). We serve full-time on staff at Siloam Missionary Homes in Snow Camp. I attended New Tribes Bible Institute and majored in missions. This is my third year homeschooling and my first year teaching at Archway. I am excited to get involved!
Kellie Stubblefield is in her third year homeschooling her two children, AJ (7) and Alexa (9). She earned her masters degree in Special Education at Texas Christian University and is a certified Montessori teacher. She taught in public and private schools for over 10 years. She loves playing games with her family, dancing (Zumba is her favorite!) and exploring the world. She recently went to Europe and plans to include many of the things she learned and acquired to enhance her classes.
